There were two Spanish Footballers’ Association (AFE) awards, and Vini Jr. was named the best player of the 2022–23 La Liga season. The awards were given at the Real Casino in Madrid. The footballers voted for the Madrid forward to win the award. He played 33 times in last season’s tournament, scoring 10 goals and setting up 8 others.

After getting the award, the Brazilian player said, “I want to thank the AFE and all of my teammates for voting me the best player in Spain last season.” This makes me happy, and I hope it keeps up for many years to come.
