Shah Rukh Khan – who is known as “King Khan” – was detained by US immigration authorities on August 12.
According to the Times of India, Shah Rukh Khan, a famous Indian actor, was detained by US immigration authorities at Los Angeles airport on August 12. On Twitter, actor Shah Rukh Khan wrote: “I completely understand and respect security, but being detained by US immigration every time I come is really annoying.”

This is not the first time that a famous Bollywood actor has been detained at a US airport. In 2009, Khan was detained at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey because his name was on a warning list. He was questioned privately and had his luggage searched.
In 2012, Shah Rukh Khan was also questioned by immigration authorities for two hours. Customs and US officials later apologized. Shah Rukh Khan then quipped: “Whenever I feel too arrogant about myself, I always go to America. The guys at immigration know how to bring a star down to earth.”
