Ferdinand gifted the clinic a signed Man Utd shirt
Ferdinand, 45, headed to Istanbul’s Dr Cinik hospital in order to have his treatment done.
As part of the deal, the former defender starred in a social media promo for the clinic.
In the video posted to social media, he said: ” I’m here to get my beard sorted out, I’ve got a couple of holes, a couple of patches.
“Get my hair transplant done. I can’t wait to get it done. Listen, if you’re ever thinking about getting yours done, this is the place to be.”
The clip subsequently follows Ferdinand around through the various stages of the treatment.
It then concludes by showing a delighted Ferdinand gifting the hospital a signed Man Utd shirt.
Former Premier League stars Bacary Sagna, Ryan Babel and Diego Lugano have had work done at the clinic in the past, as well as French World Cup winner David Trezeguet.
Additionally, shirts from Liverpool, Marseille, Brazil, Croatia, and other teams are already part of the hospital’s prestigious collection.
Ferdinand has previously dyed his beard
Ferdinand admitted to dying his greying beard back in 2021.
He told Gabby Logan: “I dye my beard sometimes, I get grey hairs here. I dye it. I think it just looks better.
“I’m not ashamed of having grey hair, I don’t care, but it looks better if it’s all one colour.
“If it all went grey, the whole beard was grey, I’d let it just go. But it’s like patchwork.”
With his 32-year-old wife Kate, Ferdinand is the father of two children: three-year-old boy Cree and this year’s born daughter Shae.
Lorenz, 17, Tate, 15, and Tia, 12, are his other three children from his marriage to the late Rebecca Ellison, his first wife, who died of breast cancer in 2018.
