Gigi Hadid is wasting no time stepping out in her new Stuart Weitzman shoes (the model teamed up with the label on a collection of fancy mule flats that only launched last night). She headed out to a meet-and-greet at the New York flagship store in a rust-colored pair that popped against her winter-white ensemble. The mix of supple suede and silky separates, not to mention a plush overcoat in the same shade, felt like a breath of fresh air, particularly at a time when clunky all-weather boots and somber colors are all too common.
Hadid belted into a kimono top and matching trousers from a Turkish brand called Zeynep Arçay. The billowing silhouette was breezy yet streamlined, and came courtesy of the nipped-in waist and cropped hem. She layered on what looked like a seriously soft duster, letting it hang languidly around her arms and keeping the sleeves extra long for good measure.
Her shoes were embroidered with a single evil eye, and she harnessed the same mysticism with a tangle of celestial-inspired Toni + Chloë Goutal necklaces of stars and half-moon pendants. The touch of sparkle and absence of color was enough to draw the eye up, but Hadid took it one step further with orange-tinted cat eye sunglᴀsses.
