By releasing a new collection featuring Mohamed Salah and other football stars, Gucci and adidas have extended their successful collaboration.
Mohamed Salah, one of the best football players in Africa, has been included in an ad campaign for the new collection from both adidas and Gucci.
Salah fronted the commercial alongside AC Milan’s Rafael Leão and Washington Spirit star Trinity Rodman, who also have adidas as a footwear sponsor.
Examining the Gucci x adidas ad campaign a little more closely…
Salah and the gang represent Gucci x adidas.
In addition to the previously mentioned Leo and Rodman, as well as women’s ballers like Manchester United’s Alessia Russo and Barcelona Femeni’s Maria Cebrian, Mohamed Salah once again wore some Gucci x adidas clothes, this time for a new collection.
According to adidas, the collection is based on collegiate style as it expands on famous vintage silhouettes and was inspired by Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele’s exploration of the shared creative components of the two brands.
With their second round of collaboration, adidas and Gucci further blur the barriers between football and fashion.
Tracksuits, quarter-zip long-sleeved blouses, graphic tees, and some of adidas’ heaviest sneaker shapes like the Gazelles and the ZX8000s are just a few of the products included in the colorful collections from adidas Original.
Salah, the talisman of the Pharaohs, wears a classic blue adidas x Gucci cardigan with red track pants and Gucci logo-embossed adidas Gazelles and looks right at home.
This collection not only unites two well-known labels, but it also features some of the most fashionable male and female footballers for adidas.
